Right, its been a nice long break from anything Battle Bunker related for me, but its time now to get back into action!

G'day everyone.

As the title suggests, my dream of owning my own wargaming store has been realised. But ... its time for things to come to an end. I have decided after having ran Battle Bunker for more then 2 years to close. Its been an amazing journey and I've had some awesome times, however, I just haven't been able to generate enough retail traffic for the store to remain open.

Wargaming and scenery building has always been a passion of mine, and it upsets me ...

We recently completed a commission project to build approx. 30 feet of 15mm hedges. It was a fun project which has rekindled my desire to play (and build scenery) for 15mm games, such as Flames of War - I've also been looking at 15mm Napoleonic figures, its a period I've always had an interest in.

Received today some new Magic: The Gathering stock, including the latest Scars of Mirrodin and Mirrodin Besieged sets.

Friday is always quiet in the store and whilst there are other Magic nights happening in town, it would be nice to get some Booster Drafts happening at the Bunker ... if you you're keen you can check out the thread here to chase up other players and gauge interest.

Scott and I have been getting the calendar sorted out for the coming months, now its time to start posting things on the forum to you all know and can plan for what-ever events you want to attend!

Just an FYI, I noticed in the core rulebook you can't buy Deathwatch abilities with your 1000 starting xp (so nothing off the rank 1 deathwatch list)...
